GETTING HERE

The Kenmore Boulevard Historic District is located less than four miles from downtown Akron and easily accessible by car and bus, as well as bike and foot via the Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail.

 

While the Kenmore Leg of I-76 is closed for construction, here are some easy ways to reach our businesses:

From Rt. 8 southbound & I-76 westbound

After passing the Central Interchange, take the Dart Ave. exit. Continue straight to Manchester Rd. and turn left onto Manchester Rd. Stay to the right and exit onto the Kenmore Blvd. exit ramp. Turn right onto Kenmore Blvd. The Kenmore Boulevard Historic District is approximately a half mile up the road.

 

From I-76/Rt. 224 eastbound

Take 224, eastbound. Take the Manchester Rd./Waterloo Rd. exit and turn left onto Waterloo Rd. At the light, turn left onto Manchester Rd. Continue on Manchester Rd. until you see the Kenmore Blvd. exit ramp on your right. Turn left off the ramp onto Kenmore Blvd. The Kenmore Boulevard Historic District is approximately a half mile up the road.

 

From I-77 northbound

Take 224 westbound to the Manchester Rd. exit. Turn right onto Manchester Rd. Exit right onto Kenmore Blvd. ramp. Turn left off the ramp onto Kenmore Blvd. The Kenmore Boulevard Historic District is approximately a half mile up the road.

 

From I-77 southbound

Continue onto I-76 eastbound, then take exit 21B (Lakeshore Blvd). Stay in the left lane and turn left on Bowery St., then left on Russel Ave. Turn left onto Manchester Rd. Exit right on the Kenmore Blvd. ramp. Turn right onto Kenmore Blvd. The Kenmore Boulevard Historic District is approximately a half mile up the road.
