 ow Akron presents a virtual winter cooking workshop with a local chef via 
 Zoom. Food kits available first-come\, first-served while supplies last. P

 .745.6126.\n\n\nAbout the Program Series:\n\nIn this ongoing series\, loca
 l chefs will prepare a budget-friendly\, seasonal dish with fresh produce 
 from the Summit Lake Neighborhood Farmers' Market and/or Let's Grow Akron 
 Community Farm Market. This series focuses on local\, seasonal eating\, hi
 ghlighting its benefits: better affordability\, higher nutrient retention\
 , lower environmental impact\, and superior flavor. Supporting local growe
 rs also strengthens the economy.\n\nEach class includes a 30-minute cookin
 g demonstration\, 15 minutes for Q&A\, and 15 minutes of information on lo
 cal farmers' markets and nutrition incentives. Details about these markets

 etsgrowakron.org.\n\n\nAbout Food Kits:\n\nFree food kits\, including the 
 ingredients needed to prepare the seasonal dish\, will be available starti
 ng at noon the day prior to the event at the Kenmore Branch Library while 
 supplies last.\n\nFood kits are limited to the first 10 people to claim th
 em in-person during the pick-up time. These cannot be reserved and are lim
 ited to one per person.\n\nFood kits are subsidized by The Friends of the 
 Kenmore Branch Library.\n\nYou will receive an email with the Zoom link pr
