DESCRIPTION:\nThe Wild Honey Collective \nThe Wild Honey Collective formed in the summer of 2020 to perform original songs and traditional American f olk music. Initially a “quarantine-era\,” informal\, acoustic back por ch passion project\, the project has expanded to include singers and songw riters Tommy McCord\, Danielle Gyger\, Timmy Rodriguez\, Dan O’Brien\, a nd Jack Schueler\, pedal steel guitarist Adam Aymor and drummer Joel Kuipe r (with a variety of “collective” collaborative projects in addition t o the core band activity). The group issued The Wild Honey Collective: Vol ume 1 full-length debut album in January 2021\, followed by the 12-track T he Wild Honey Collective Volume 2 album (July 2022)\, the 7 track “mini- album” Chicory (September 2023)\, the 12-track Volume 3 (May 2024) – t he 2024 “Roots Album of The Year” per the WYCE Jammies – and 6 song EP Solidago (September 2025)\, each building on the foundation of original and traditional music set by the debut album. Since first performing live in June 2021\, The Wild Honey Collective has performed over 250 shows at a range of Michigan music festivals including Wheatland Music Festival\, S miling Acres\, Forest Trail and Fallasburg Arts Festival\, as well as venu es spanning the tip of the Keweenaw peninsula to the coast of Maine. The W ild Honey Collective is ever-evolving and encompasses sounds of traditiona l string band music\, rowdy country rock\, psychedelia\, classic pop and m ore to preserve and nurture the lineage of Cosmic American Music.\n\nJerem y Porter \nJeremy Porter grew up in Marquette\, a small city on the shore of Lake Superior in Michigan's Upper Peninsula\, where he was a founding m ember of one of the UP's first punk bands - The Regulars. After moving to the Detroit area in 1988\, he would go on to join\, form and front several bands including Chutes and Ladders\, SlugBug\, Clashback\, Fidrych and Th e OffRamps.\n\nJeremy released and toured behind a solo album in 2010 call ed Party of One and formed Jeremy Porter and The Tucos the following year. The Tucos have released 4 LP/CDs\, a live EP\, several singles\, and a 3- CD ten-year retrospective collection. They tour the US and Canada regularl y and toured the UK in 2018. In 2024\, Jeremy released Dynamite Alley on G TG Records\, his first full-length solo album since 2010. Jeremy supplemen ts the Tucos' schedule with solo shows when possible\, pulling material fr om his entire career. \n\nJeremy has appeared as a guest and contributed g utiar\, vocals and writing to releases by several bands including Watershe d\,Porchsleeper\, Popular Creeps and Head Injury.\n\nReverend Guitars have designated Jeremy as a featured artist and he proudly plays their Pete An derson Signature Model as his primary instrument live.\n\nJeremy is Co-Edi tor in Chief and contributes regularly to Pencil Storm - a Columbus\, Ohio -based music\, film\, sports\, and culture blog run by Colin Gawel of the band Watershed. His latest single\, "Why I'm Here” was released last year on Cherokee Queen Records\, and his most recent album\, “Goodnight \, Detroit” came out in limited-edition vinyl form on Record Store Day 2 025.\n\nLisik’s two most recent studio albums\, “Hotsy Totsy! Live” and “Nu Wreckard” were each named among of the top releases of 2022 by the Canton Repository.
