 singer-songwriter Casey El\, who is backed by their band of Youngstown-are
 a musicians: Blake Maurice on drums\, Jett Ventresco on Bass\, Nicholas De
 Walt on Rhythm Guitar/Backing Vocals & Tim Dodge on lead guitar. lovers in
  reverse released their debut single “Mothman” on Halloween this year\
 , with a second single & their debut album on the way this winter. Whether
  they’re performing at the esteemed Lock3 Mainstage of Akron Pride Festi
 val or their favorite locally-owned Northeast Ohio venues\, lovers in reve
 rse boasts a unique aesthetic & musical flair that is sure to entertain an
 d inspire you.\n\nThe Jo Shmos\n\nIn the Ohio music system\, indie alterna
 tive punk rock bands are considered especially bitchin. In Kent\, Ohio\, t
 hese kooky group of friends and talented musicians are members of an elite
  squad known as The Jo Shmos. Their storytelling writing style paired with
  invoking musical accompaniment leaves audiences wanting more. Their songs
  are their stories.\n\nSo Nectar\n\nThe Akron\, OH trio that is So Nectar 
 met in the basement house shows of Akron. Lightweight Traveler started pla
 ying in 2014 with John Steele (guitar) and Drew Namoski (drums) instantly 
 syncing and starting a lasting bromance. Lightweight Traveler called it qu
 its the next year after playing a lot of shows but having no releases. Fai
 led Astronauts was already an Akron staple and had a great lineup includin
 g Alex Owens (bass daddy). In late 2016\, Drew joined the crew to complete
  the rhythm section until 2019 when two astronauts started jamming with a 
 martian. So Nectar played its first show in February 2020 with its current
  lineup of John Steele (guitar/vocals)\, Alex Owens (bass/vocals)\, and Dr
 ew Namoski (drums). After the lock down in November 2023 the EP “It’s 
 Going To Be Fine” was released consisting of old songs and new surfy emo
