DESCRIPTION:Inpatient\n\nA raucous trio of ne’er do-wells from Akron OH. 
 Concocting only the foulest riffs\, most hypnotic grooves and straight int
 erstellar jamming. Drawing inspiration from old school punk/ hardcore madn
 ess\, early 70s psychedelic disassociation and mind bending progressive ro
 ck. Inpatient creates the visceral and primal landscape only seen in books
  and movies\n\nThe DollyHoppers\n\nSoleo\n\nSoleo came together after voca
 list/guitarist Amir Gholizadeh created and shared his own bizarre guitar-t
 uning style with his now-bandmates Tynan Evans (bass) and Nick Golias (dru
 ms). That\, and a concept about Gholizadeh’s family history\, became the
  inspiration for their unconventional sound\, oftentimes labeled as "Middl
 e Eastern progressive rock." \n\nThe band merges western progressive motif
 s and a dash of metal with traditional Persian music Gholizadeh grew up li
 stening to. Their self-titled debut album\, "Soleo"\, has the cinematic fe
 eling of classics like The Wall and Tommy\, though to say they necessarily
  sound like those bands or like their progressive contemporaries is imprec
 ise.\n\nThe album\, which was released on Tragic Hero Records\, is inspire
 d by the true story of Gholizadeh’s family fleeing their home country af
 ter it was overtaken by extremists. While it follows that specific journey
 \, the band also says the music functions as a standalone concept. Gholiza
 deh explains\, “To say this is exclusively my family’s story would be 
 short-sighted. A lot of people leave their homes and start a new life some
 where else — some of them under better circumstances and others under wo
 rse. So\, although the story is unique\, the concepts are pretty universal
 . Our hope is that people will draw their own stories from these songs.”
