  Experience music from a different perspective. YOU can join the orchestra
  for a song\, like a musical virtuoso! See how it feels to view the audien
 ce from the orchestra's side of a performance. During the Dessert Receptio
 n\, there will be a variety of string instruments provided for you to try\
 , and music trivia to play with orchestra members.\n\nDessert Reception in
 cludes music trivia\, an opportunity to talk with orchestra members\, lear
 n about the orchestra's long history and\, of course\, desserts!\n\nThe Ak
 ron Pops Orchestra is Summit County's oldest operating orchestra. Founded 
 in 1926 as The Doctors' Orchestra of Akron\, the 55 members volunteer thei
