DESCRIPTION:I hope you'll come out as I get together with songwriters Jen M
 aurer and Benjamin Payne to share songs and stories. \n\nJen Maurer is co 
 founder of Mo' Mojo\, a female fronted group featuring three-part harmonie
 s\, accordion\, fiddle\, rubboard\, electric guitar\, sax\, trumpet\, harp
 \, bass\, and drums. Songs are sung in English and French.\nJen also appea
 rs with her band The Jen Maurer Project\, as well as duo and solo. \n\nThe
  band has worked with the State Department and/or the American Music Abroa
 d Program..\n\nBenjamin Payne:\nBenjamin Payne is a singer/songwriter\, mu
 lti-instrumentalist\, and producer from Canton OH. He’s been recording a
 nd performing throughout northeast Ohio for over 35 years. Currently\, he 
 is the front man and primary songwriter for the band Benjamin Payne & Yank
 ee Bravo\, who most recently celebrated the release of their third album\,
  “Carolina Sky“.\n\nJim Ballard: \nAfter a multi year sabbatical from 
 recording and performing\,  Ballard returned to the studio\, songs in hand
 \,  and recorded two albums\, Wood and Wire in 2011 and Human Harvest in 2
 012. From there\, he was invited to play in Charlie Wiener’s series of t
 ribute concerts\, leading him back to live performances. 2017 marked the r
 elease of the double album Ask John Steinbeck\, which sparked the formatio
 n of his present band\, The Strangs. Together they have recorded 8 CDs to 
 date\, the latest being Follow The Moon and 2023’s NeoChroma which featu
 res Jim & The Strangs playing songs by Northeast Ohio bands and artists\, 
 including Alex Bevan\, Marc Lee Shannon and Jack Kidney of 15 60 75 The Nu
 mbers Band fame. He is presently in post production on his 18th album a li
 ve performance titled Set List featuring Jim\, his backing band The Strang
