SUMMARY:EMERGING SOUNDS: Karl Batman & The Ohio 94 Band / Glass...
DESCRIPTION:\nKarl Batman & The Ohio 94 Band\n\nMy name is Karl Batman\, se
lf taught guitarist and singer/composer\; coming to you guys with my big b
and “The Ohio 94”! I come from blue collar agrarian roots\, and aim to
encapsulate the under appreciated Midwestern Heartland culture in my musi
c I write. Distinguished Rock n Roll sound and rhythm paired with Country
writing and folk instruments\, The Ohio 94 is a sight to see. I am a firm
believer that hard living makes the best music\; so come show out and have
the best time at our appearance at the Rialto this June!\n\n“You sound
just like Zach Bryan”\n\nGlass Monarch\n\nGlass Monarch is a rock duo ba
sed in Akron\, classic songwriting with new sounds. \n\nGas Station Lullab
ies\n\nGas Station Lullabies is an independent blues rock quartet hailing
from Southern Ohio. Combining a multitude of musical backgrounds and inter
ests\, members Noah Clifton (vocals\, guitar)\, Jayden Steele (vocals\, ke
yboard)\, Blaise Reader III (bass guitar\, guitar)\, and Jakob Stephens (p
ercussion) form a captivating and genuine ensemble that creates a vivid so
undscape of their individual musical sensibilities and personal background
 s. \n\n\nThe band's original material offers up a variety of sounds and st
orytelling\, ranging from sassy and strutting rock pieces full of grit\, t
 o vulnerable\, airy ballads\, as well as cheery\, indie ear-worms. Despite
the wide range of sonic possibilities that can come from the band's origi
nals\, a great sense of cohesion is found in lead songwriter Noah Clifton'
s poignant-but-relatable lyricism across every piece. And when the band ve
ntures out to a cover tune\, the sensible quartet maintains the spirit of
the song while bringing their own take and sound to the piece that's recog
nizably GSL.\n\nAndrew Lee\n\nI'm a relative novice in the Akron music sce
ne. I started out playing covers which led to me writing my own original m
aterial. I tend to lean into my personal stories when writing songs. I sti
ll love playing covers in fun interesting ways. \n\n\nhttps://www.facebook
