DESCRIPTION:Zach Freidhof is a Troubadour of Peace originally from Akron Oh
 io\, residing in the Teton Mountains of Wyoming since 2020. His music is a
 n uplifting blend of folk & soul immersed in love.\n\n26 years ago after a
  nearly fatal appendix rupture\, Zach began writing and performing music i
 n Northeast Ohio\, releasing his first CD and making his way onto stages a
 cross the country\, sometimes with the likes of Neil Young\, Richard Thomp
 son\, Gin Blossoms\, Bo Diddley\, Trevor Hall\, Steve Poltz\, and Brett De
 nnon. Since then he has performed across North America in diverse venues f
 rom living rooms and yoga classes to clubs to theatres\, to festivals. Rec
 ently he was awarded the John T Looney Justice and Peace Award. Other acco
 lades include Humanitarian of the Year\, Local Band of the Year\, Best Sin
 ger/Songwriter\, and the he was invited to perform in Toronto in 2018 and 
 2023 at the Parliament of World's Religions.\n\nIn addition\, Zach has rel
 eased 6 Kirtan records (Jai Ma Vol 1-6). He led weekly chanting in person 
 and through Facebook Live for 2 years. He is a yogi\, leads meditation and
  is a co-director of the Yoga Summit of Ohio. He also co-created and is th
 e Executive Director of the Big Love Network\, which focuses on environmen
 tal health equity and justice through community uplift and engagement thou
 gh neighbor-led neighborhood initiatives involving arts\, skills\, and gat
 herings. As a photographer\, his first book of meditations and photography
 \, Tiny Meditations\, was released 2016\, and has since released 3 more bo
 oks of photography and meditations / poetry. \n\nPerformances with his hig
 h energy band Zach & the Bright Lights (Neil Keating\, Charlie Trenta\, Mi
 chael Marotta and Drew Thornberry) get the body and soul moving! \n\n\nZac
 h will be releasing his 37th album this spring\, called Expedition of the 
 Heart. \n\nIn 2021\, he released\, Guideline\, which was written about his
  mother's passing\, and his struggles with that experience.\n\nZach lives 
 in The Teton Mountains in Wyoming\, where he says he feels an ancient conn
 ection.\n\n“My soul was hewn from those rocks and stones\,” he says.\n
 \nZach released his first CD in 1999\, “Delusions”\, and since then he
  has performed over 5\,000 shows and toured across 350\,000 miles.\n\nZach
  hopes his recordings and shows can be a catalyst for uplift\, mental heal
